Homework & Socratic Seminar

Your homework list. Apologies for being rather late (points to the time of post and scorns):

IS1102A: Read on up the notes given after the Socratic Seminar. Test upcoming.

IS1102B: Complete the entire worksheet on Temperature.

IS1103: Test upcoming.

MA1101: Curve Sketching worksheet, complete pages 7-12.

HCL: Complete the activity on '生日礼物' and a 选词添空 somewhere at the back of the booklet.

MI1101: Another reminder to complete both the individual and group assignment by the 25th of Feb.

IH1101: Another reminder to complete the spices project by the 25th of Feb. Not forgetting the commodities project, which is due at a later date.

LA1101: Complete the speech assignment due on the 8th week of this term. Test upcoming.

SPIRE: Project report thingamajig? I'm not really sure but just do what you deem necessary.

I'm really tired. But I feel that the following has to be said sooner or later.

Ms. Selva is right. Our class is really unbonded. I just hope that everyone will forget the unhappiness caused by the Socratic Seminar last friday, and maybe we could organise some outings after assessment week? Or something along those lines that would help to increase our friendship and sense of [brother / sister]hood-liness. I'll just apologise to everyone who's unhappy because of the so-called "dominance" during the seminar, on the behalf of the guilty parties (and perhaps myself), and hopefully this will be a learning experience and an eye-opener to the current situation in class.

I've heard other classes's seminars being really successful, where everyone helped each other and they actually learnt something out of the entire assessment. Perhaps our class people are too conscious about grades and marks? Meanwhile, we should just put this mindset aside.

So, let's move on together as a class?
